Terms & condition of sale of products by SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited (SGS)

1. Any matter/claim/dispute arising out of the transaction will be subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata courts only.

2. All requests for further services or exchange of the products of complaints pertaining to the product should be accompanied with the cash memo and valid government issued photo identity of the person identity of the person making such request/complaint.

3. Jewellery sold by SGS can be exchanged at the same showroom for the product of the same value provided (Only for Customer from Kolkata ).

1. It is unused.
2. It is in the same condition in which it was sold.
3. It is returned within seven days from the date of the cash memo.
4. The original cash memo is produced.
5. A government issued photo identity of the person is produced.
6. The product is not tampered with or altered.
7. No request for cash back shall be entertained.
8. The decision of the showroom manager on the above shall be final.

4. No complaint will be entertained by SGS if:

1. The jewellery is damaged due to mishandling by the customer.
2. The jewellery is altered or repaired by a person not authorized by SGS.

5. SGS shall not be liable or responsible for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

6. The rate per gram charged for gold is as mentioned in the cash memo.As the Gold/Silver rate at any given time is not uniform in the market, SGS does not make any representation with regard to SGS Gold/Silver rate mentioned in the cash memo.

7. If the payment is made by the customer through cheque or Demand Draft,  the delivery of the item purchased from SGS against the bill, will be made only after realization of the amount by SGS.

8. Precious and Semi-precious products (i.e. Color stone, Pearl, Diamond etc.) weight is deducted from gross weight which is approximate, but SGS will, under its exchange/buyback scheme, pay for/value the gold content mentioned as nett weight in the invoice.

SGS exchange/buyback scheme for used Silver/Gold/Jarau/Diamond jewellery and gold/silver coin:

1. SGS Jewellery sold at any SGS showroom, will be accepted for exchange at any SGS showroom as per the prevailing terms and conditions of SGS exchange scheme at the discretion of SGS.
2. Jewellery pieces will be accepted for buy back/exchange after due examination for damage, weight & originality (except for jewellery exchange as mentioned in clause 3 above).
3. At the time of exchange or buy back of jewellery purchased from SGS, SGS will value jewellery pieces on the following basis:

1. SGS original cash memo should be produced at the time of exchange or buy back along with government issued photo identity of the person seeking buyback/exchange.
2. The net Silver/Gold content will be valued on the basis of SGS prevailing Silver/Gold rate on the date of exchange/buyback.The weight of the gold will be net of all pearls, stones, laakh(i.e.wax)dust, dirt and any other extraneous material.
3. The loss of weight (Silver/Gold content) can be due to wear and tear.
4. Diamonds and other precious stones will be valued, with appropriate deductions, as per SGS prevailing policies.
5. Making charges and values of all other stones, beads, pearls and taxes will be completely deducted.
6. This buy back scheme may be withdrawn or modified by SGS at its sole discretion without any prior notice.
7. Valuation of used jewellery/gold/silver coin for purchase by SGS will be less than the exchange value. If the said purchase by SGS is sought by you instead of an exchange, an additional deduction will me made on the exchange value of Silver/Gold/Jarau/Diamond jewellery and gold/silver coin.
8. All payments for purchase by SGS of your old jewellery will me made through cheque/RTGS or NEFT only. Payment shall be made only to the person producing the cash memo and carrying a valid government issued photo identity.
9. SGS does not cover any consequential loss or damage of jewellery or precious stone in studded jewellery.

Refund & Exchange Policy

To ensure you are confident about your purchase, we have an Returns & Exchange policy, which gives you enough time to be in no doubt that you have made the right decision of buying jewellery from SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited. So In case you are not fully satisfied with your purchase from SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited for any reason, you can opt to return any unused jewellery within 7 days of receipt for a refund, credit or exchange (excluding shipping & handling). However, you can only return items that are not customized or engraved. All SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited products must be returned in their original condition. Moreover, refund, credit or exchange is subject to item being reviewed by our Quality Assurance Specialists. If any jewellery is damaged or modified in any way by any other jeweller except SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited, then it can’t be returned.

Our return and exchange policy timeline is 7 days from the date of delivery .We shall not entertain any request after 7 days in case of from the date of receiving of the product.

Our refund policy is not applicable for gold coins, silver articles, silver rakhi, Silver Diamond Bracelets/Rakhi and for products ordered with specific indications (Make to Order), customization, engraving, personalized gift , purchase using promotion code or by discount coupon.

This refund is subject to quality confirmation by our quality assurance team and on verification that the packaging of the same is complete with all the documents like diamond & insurance certificate & original invoice.

If Your Order Arrives Damaged Or Incomplete, You can instantly E-mail at support@sgandsonsjewellerspvtltd.com.  We will guide you how you return/rectify a certain problem or issue you are facing. Kindly note it will take around 2-3 weeks for returns processing through our facility.

In case you receive a damaged item, an item you didn't order or the wrong item, we exchange it free of charge or refund the full amount charges after a quality check. If it is indeed an error or a defective product your refund or exchange will be on its way shortly.

To initiate return, Select the item in your order that you want to return and submit return request, Once we receive your return request we will share packing instructions to follow and handover the same to courier person. The whole reverse pick up procedure would take at least 7-10 working days. Note down the return tracking number.

Once the product is returned under our Returns & Exchange policy the refund will be credited to your SG wallet. You may choose to either make another purchase using the same or get the amount refunded to your bank account.

Shipping Policy

Shipping of the order from www.sgandsonsjewellerspvtltd.com is very safe, secure and hassle free. All our products are insured during the in transit by insurance company. All goods will be fully insured until they reach you, so your purchase is 100% safe.

Every package of product (Jewellery / Gold Coin) purchased from www.sgandsonsjewellerspvtltd.com will reach to your doorstep in a durable condition and in a tamper-proof packing. We will dispatch through any of our courier partners depending upon their serviceability in the shipping address.

Inspect the package for any damage or tamper before receiving or signing for receipt.

Make a video of the unboxing of your shipment for security purposes.

SG & Sons Jewellers Private Limited will not be responsible for orders collected directly from the delivery hub or anywhere outside the delivery address.

Orders can be delivered only to mentioned address by customer during order. The delivery of the orders cannot be done at any public places like Mall, Hotel, Restaurant, Hostel, on street etc.

Cancellation Policy

In case of any discrepancy we have the right to cancel any of the orders. A few reasons for cancellation from our end usually include limitation of the product in the inventory, error in pricing, error in product information etc. We also have the right to check out for extra information of the customer for the purpose of accepting orders in a few cases. We make sure to notify you if in case your order is cancelled partially or completely or if in case any extra data is required for the purpose of accepting your order.

Once you place the order, it can be cancelled from your end before the product is dispatched. On receiving the cancellation request for ready for shipping product, we make sure to refund the amount through the same mode of payment within 10 working days. In case of cancellation pre-dispatch cancellation fees of 2% will be levied and balance 98% will be refunded back to the account. Gold coin order cancellation is not allowed under any circumstance.

We don’t accept cancellation for make to order or customised jewellery products. In case customer wants the money back or wants to exchange it with other product(s), making charges and stone charges of the ordered product will be deducted from the payment and balance will be refunded back to customer account within 10 working days or will be adjusted against the exchanged product(s).

Gold Coin, Silver articles, Silver Rakhi, Silver Diamond Bracelets/Rakhi and for products ordered with specific indications (Make to Order), customization, engraving, personalized gift order cancellation is not allowed under any circumstance.

If in case the amount is deducted from customers account and the transaction has failed, the same will be refunded back to your account within 72 hours.
